The German Embassy in Pyongyang is the diplomatic representation of Germany in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). Due to DPRK's COVID-19 measures, the embassy has been temporarily closed to German diplomatic personnel since March 2020. The Swedish Embassy in Pyongyang provides limited emergency consular assistance as a protecting power. The German Ambassador to the DPRK is based in Berlin.
