In Vienna's 4th district (Wieden), Honorary Consul Ing. Rainer Henn has served Estonian interests since 1999 – one of the longest-serving Estonian honorary consuls in Austria. Unlike the embassy's consular section, this honorary consulate holds authentication authority (Beglaubigungsbefugnis), enabling document legalization services. The consulate complements the Estonian Embassy located nearby on Wohllebengasse, providing additional support for the eastern Austrian states.
